The interior centre section has 5 open sliding shelves with the option to convert to short hanging space, 3 graduated drawers below and flanked by 2 long hanging spaces and standing on plinth base. Splits into 6 sections to facilitate easy moving. c1820</p>

<p>Interesting 4 piece Victorian Ash Gothic revival bedroom suite comprising of wardrobe, washstand, dressing table and bedside cabinet, all items inlaid and having original brass fittings. The wardrobe having inlaid moulded cornice with inlaid frieze, panelled doors with central mirror opening to reveal long hanging and sliding shelves(can be used for short hanging) with 4 drawers below, stands on shaped plinth base. The washstand (more detailed photos under ref as006a932) has original marble top with unusual black/cream tiled upstand depicting Shakespear's epics of Hamlet, King Lear, Midsummer Nights, Tempest, McBeth, Romeo&Juliet and the Merchants of Venice. The dressing table (more detailed photos under ref as006a932) has a rectangular mirror with inlaid supports having original brass candle holders, 2 box drawers to top and 2 frieze drawers all with same decorative inlay. A very unusual suite in excellent condition c1890</p>
