Each desk is a genuine period piece and date mainly from the 19th century and early 20th century.
To compliment the desks we always have in stock a selection of antique office chairs. Our antique office chairs and antique desks are sympathetically and carefully restored.</p>

<p>Turn of the century mahogany desk of good proportions having inset green tooled leather to the top which has carved gadrooned edges,three drawers to frieze with pedestals of 3 drawers either side flanked by carved line decoration. This desk has raised and fielded panels to all sides enabling it to be placed in any room position, stands on bracket feet. (splits into 3 section )</p>

<p><strong>Description</strong></p>
<p>An outstanding Victorian Oak double sided desk having break centre outline with black leather inset to top embossed with gold tooling, canted corners of reeded columns with carved capitals and moulded panels to kneehole and sides, having 9 drawers with cupboards to the reverse, the drawers have raised panels with original turned knobs and mahoagany linings. An exeptionally high qualty desk which is stamped and plated by the well know maker Edwards & Roberts, Oxford St, London. C1884.</p>

<p>Victorian oak desk chair having swivell and height adjustable movement, it has a curved shaped back rail with scroll over arms supported by shaped splats. The newly upholstered brown leather seat is edges in studs and stands on 4 outswept legs. c1890.</p>

<p>Excellent quality Victorian period mahogany partners desk having mahogany lined drawers with moulded edges, original brass drop handles and quality Hobbs of London locks, flanked by carved lined decoration. The opposite side of the desk having 3 drawers across the top with cupboards below.The top has an old green leather tooled inset in good condition, panelled to all sides making it suitable for a free standing location. Splits into 3 secton the top and two pedestals for easy transport</p>

The sides are inlaid with boxwood stringing and all the brass fittings are original, stands on bracket feet.c1900</p>
