<p>Attractive Victorian mahogany writing table of small proportions having hazel colour inset leather with gold tooling, 2 drawers to frieze with moulded edges and original wooden knobs, stands on slim turned and tapering legs with castors. c1870.</p>

<p><strong>Description</strong></p>
<p>Very unusual satinwood box with brass bound edges and tambour top section, opens by pulling the brass handle at front which operates the tambour section and enables the writing slope to be revealed. This would make an ideal present being very unusual and I am sure would be much appreciated.</p>

<p>Unusual Rosewood sewing table/writing table of William IV period having 3 dummy drawers to frieze and one drawer which opens to reveal a writing section, it also has a silk pleated work box below for sewing materials.stands on tapering shaped pedestal with quadrofoil base and carved knurled feet.c1835.</p>
