Sn4858 Exhibition quality Aesthetic Movement credenza by Lamb of Manchester, having brass gallery to the back edge, figured walnut top with moulded and ebonised edge and ebonised frieze with gilt string decoration and ormolu rosettes above a pair of glazed doors fitted with original working lock and a key enclosing original velvet interior with 2 shelves, flanked by projecting , panelled cupboard doors, each with gilded mouldings, ebonised banding, gilt floral stringing and Wedgwood blue jasper plaque, one depicting Cesar other Neron, all enclosing height adjustable shelves, standing on gilt decorated, moulded plinth base. This antique display cabinet / sideboard has been sympathetically restored, it retains its original finish with fantastic gradation of colours. which has been cleaned, revived and waxed, original patina and soft and mellow colour, all in wonderful home ready condition. Of course you can organise your own courier service if that suits you better, though we must emphasise that we can not take any responsibility for the item once it leaves our premises. If you wish to take this option, please let us know at the time of purchase.

Collect In Person

Alternatively, you are more than welcome to come and collect your purchase in person. We love to see our antiques leave us in the safe hands of their new owners, though again we must mention that you will be taking responsibility for any ensued damage once it leaves our premises.


If for some unlikely reason you are not happy with your purchase, we offer a full refund policy. We only ask that you inform us by telephone or email within 48 hours of receiving your package, if you wish to return it. We will then arrange a courier to come and collect it, the cost of which will be deducted from your refund. The furniture must arrive back to us in the same condition that it left us. We deem this to be an unlikely situation though and anticipate that you will be as delighted with your purchase as we are in seeing it safely sent to a new home. Then, you can sit back and enjoy it.
